After a quick replacement of the Z80 to fix an issue with the CPC the game is running and is very good.

Who doesnβt enjoy looking at the box of dirty famicoms that sit by my desk?
My wife, thatβs who.
Time for me to have a nice Soft drink and watch Dr Blanchardβs latest video.
Yeah, I love the Neo Geo Pocket! I wish analogue had gone with that style of controller for the analogue pocket. I can see why they didnβt but it would have been better than whatever turds they put behind the d-pad that make it impossible to play Gameboy Mr Do! Without getting carpal tunnel.
Garbage NeoGeo with amazing controllers
Yes, my MVS is just some consolized e-Waste but these controllers are possibly the greatest digital joypads made by humans.
Also bought Short Circuit on the CPC. Less of a bargain but I now at least own one original game for my 464. Going to try it later. Hopefully itβs not terrible.
I picked a few Famicom and Master System bargains today at @bristolvge.bsky.social that Iβm looking forward to playing later.
Iβm 99% sure I didnβt already have any of these apart from Enduro Racer but it was Β£3 so worth a risk.
I am providing some of my Retro collection for people to play at the North Bristol Retro Game Meet on the 1st April if you are local and interested in that sort of thing. The venue does have a nice selection of hot wings, if nothing else.

Audi (a handsome collector of strange video games), @bitmapbureau.com and Stan Bush all making a He-Man game. Thatβs quite a group of talented people!
Very glad to have done some work on this collection, as it has a lot of awesome games. Plus working with some great people on bringing classic games to modern platforms is always much fun.
The Β£8 Game Boy I bought almost worked first time, just needed a good clean with a pint of Isopropanol and will need a new screen. It even came with an SD Gundam game that I didnβt have.
One of my kids just woke me up at 4am by shouting in my face that he is King Kong. He is not.
Lots of cool things will happen today, not least the consumption of pancakes.
The Saturn is a very underrated console. I regret not playing it more when it first came out. Itβs worth getting one just for the NiGHTs games, and all the arcade ports.
I'll be at GDC March 10-12th! Please reach out if you wanna find some time to talk all things Carbon Engine/retro releases or simply catch up. Looking forward to it!
Space invaders
I donβt really go for boxed Super Famicom games due to storage space restrictions but even I canβt resist a tatty boxed Space Invaders
A new expansion for the best Diablo?
I must... resist...
Finally got another one. At this rate itβs going to take a decade to complete the collection. Great game though, played it a lot on the Atari ST.
The great battle 4 on the Super Famicom
Time to have a quick blast on Great Battle IV before bedtime. Iβm even going as far as to get the fancy RGB amp modded Super Famicom out, as itβs a Sunday.
Same here! Big fan of Retroleum.
The CPC464 is a big old thing. More than twice the size of a ZX Spectrum. Is it twice as good?
No.
The one on the left is a very dirty cartridge. That's quite disgusting.
In the 90s I played Motorcross Maniacs a heck of a lot. Probably more than any other gameboy game. It may even be the first game I tried in an emulator. I can definitely remember playing it on the DOS version of vgb in a college lesson where they were explaining how to use a Z80 to drive a printer.
Iβm secretly a Puyo Puyo addict and finally have one for PlayStation. Now all I need is a working PlayStation.
I donβt have many boxed Famicom games but I seem to have started collecting all the Namco Namcot ones which is going to be an impossible task.
With the help of an ill four year old child and some mild bad language Iβve managed to get this rather worn out ASCII arcade stick working on one Famicom. It wonβt work on the others for some reason but progress is progress.
We're taking a look at Fujitsu's first proper boxed up computer, the Micro 8 - but not just that, we're looking at the rarer and funkier bubble memory drive too youtu.be/ach_WvR3x_U #RetroComputing
Iβve hyped it. I watched it earlier and it sent me down a YouTube rabbit hole of vintage radios. Makes a change from vintage computers I guess lol.
Like all 1980s electronics it smells like someone used this Spectrum as an ashtray.
8bit awesome
Saturday night is the perfect night for Famicom Galaga
