The resilience from yesterday and through this entire occupation has been nothing short of incredible. ICE cannot defeat this
The people united will never be defeated!
Reports from the front lines of the filter blockades
Ambulance just easily passed through; the entire blockade and brass band went silent so traffic could be organized for them to pass quickly.
Zoom in below to find the most effective spot near you to set up additional Filter Blockades!
[SUBMITTED TO US] Maps of ICE engagements in the city of Minneapolis from Dec. '25-now, encompassing a range of activities, from successful and attempted abductions to stakeouts, stagings and drive-bys.
We got us.
Always have, always will
Banner reading AID YOUR BLOCK, START A BLOCK-AID
Pallet with a sign shaped like fire reading "WE DESERVE TO LIVE"
Signs with the filter blockade logo and "neighbors say ICE out!" alongside a banner that reads "CAN'T SPELL POLICE WITHOUT ICE"
MPD surrounding the roundabout
Beautiful blockade at 35th and Bloomington already being surrounded by MPD :(.
Really can't spell police without ICE
Two bros sitting in camping chairs in an intersection
3 garbage bins blocking a roadway
Filters really can be any size and built by anyone. This is ultimately a strategy being well taken up by everyone, because every slowdown is potentially one less detention.
Extremely prescient article. Read it asap

New piece from folks in the Twin Cities reflecting on the lessons of the strikes of January 23 and 30, and how liberal appeasement and authoritarian vanguardism have functioned as obstacles to the growth of the movement.

Extremely cool
MPD wants to "work with us". Our response? "Police, ICE, same shit."
As MPD shows up and tries to claim separation from ICE, people in the crowd roundly reject them. The "fuckaroundandfindout-about" is still going strong!
A separate "block party" style blockade has popped up in a different part of town from the filter blockade at 34th and Cedar. People dancing, kids playing soccer, having fun while defending the neighborhood against ICE.
Pics from a second filter blockade / block party happening in Minneapolis about 8 blocks away, in the Powderhorn neighborhood. ~50 people there too.
