We still desperately need the Federal government to keep their promises and resume relief funding however, and we are grateful for NCβs state and local leadershipsβ ongoing efforts to pursue it.
Here is to rest and re-creation in one of the best places on earth after a reality-breaking year after hurricane Helene. I am thankful for the amazing recovery work that has been done throughout our region, and grateful to call this place home.
