There is a place along the river not far from us that we call the Ice Fields. There is a spring of water that comes out of the ground all year long, and in the winter creates some beautiful ice formations. The last shot was my view as I headed back down the river.

Doves, Doves, Doves
This is only the 2nd day the Ottawa river has been frozen side to side and already there has been a kill on the #ice. It wasn't large enough to have been a deer and I didn't have time to send the drone out for a closer look. Here is the best shot I got of the two #Coyotes

Quite the scene over the river after the #sun went down. The water was very #calm, so I launched the #Drone, sent it out over the river and lowered it down low to catch the reflection of the sky in the calm water.#NaturePhotography
Half way though my walk with #Maggie today, I found a decent size stick and broke it off into a good size for her. One would think I gave her a leg of lamb. She carried it all the way home and then played with it until I had to put her back inside. She was so proud of it. #dogs

Little #Maggie the neighbourhood dog I get to visit a few times a week as her Mom works all day. Here she is this afternoon working on her retreaving skills.

Three shots to put an end to the day. I was watching these two #sailboats racing each other and one just had a jib flying the other main and jib. Jib only led the way. Then I saw these #geese coming my way. How beautiful. Then the #sun setting behind the trees on the other side.

Two treats from early this morning. The River from my deck and cobwebs in the field, same day as in past years.
Yesterday after the waterfalls, I just had a little light left to explore the eastern end of the park which gives you access to the river. The first is of a Killdeer, then two synchronized Egrets. I even did one sunset shot looking towards the Nepean Marina. I have to go back.
