There's a lot of good evidence that exercise is not great for weight loss, even if it is health promoting. Best evidence is to use a GLP1 medication to help with appetite regulation and also add in strength training.

That shouldn't be the way to win the democratic primary though.

Not only has he demonstrated lots of bad decision making, there's really not record of making lots of good decisions. We're just supposed to assume that if we elect him to one of the highest offices he'll be fine.
