Black History Month!
Recently learned the original concept of Felicia from Darkstalkers was a black woman but someone decided that would be an "uphill battle". So I wanted to envision what we could have had. If you know other characters that started as POC and were then changed lemme know below!
This recognition is so nice & it’s exactly what I wanted folks to take away with this run! Inspiration often starts with representation, & as much fun as I had writing this book, the biggest reward would be if it someone reading decides to start making art on their own!

I had ppl come to me with projects , that showed AI images and my interest goes from 100 to 0 right away. I recently had to tell a AD that could not use images that the writer provided bc it was gen AI . So I had created design on my own with only just words described and research. (1/2)
(2/2) it getting really nasty. It also feeling extremely lazy bc there so much u can pull from without the use of gen ai.
