I've read very little 40k, so I don't have that problem, haha. You absolutely should keep going. I've read everything he's put out, and I think he only gets better overtime. His most recent book, The Devils, might be one of my favorites ever. It's a little more hopeful than his other works.
I only recently read Dark Tower, and being able to go straight from one book into the next was an amazing experience. Full agree on S tier. First Law is S Tier for me, though I understand why others might struggle. Abercrombie just clicks with me and I love all his characters.
If you see me wearing a shirt for some fandom (music, game, show, etc.), know that I DO want you to talk to me about it. Just understand that I will NOT remember what shirt I'm wearing and I will have to look at it like an idiot to remind myself before responding.
I always enjoy your style of narrated playthroughs, but that last chapter is such an important topic and I really appreciate your approach. Keep it up!

Thank you! Hand painted, which was a pain as both the white and tan required 3 coats before they were opaque, and even then I think the white might need a 4th. The red and blue lines are hiding some of the worst seams.
An armored Sentinel currently in the process of being painted. It has a camo pattern utilizing cool green. Tan, white. And accents of red and blue. Some base colors are still missing. And if has no shading or highlighting yet.
#WIP I Wasn't planning on working on a Sentinel, but had a paint day with a friend and wanted to try something new, so I experimented with some cold weather camo. Not sure how I like it. Yet, But I'll wait until it's done to pass judgement.

I've been practicing this as well recently with a 10/0 script liner brush I just picked up. And even with my shaky hands it's working pretty well.

I finished the test scheme for my Erzdrie regiment. Here's a comparison of a fully shaded and highlighted Cadian next to one that just has base colors. What a difference, even at my average skill level!

Spent an hour just redoing the subtitles for a video because YouTube's auto-generated subtitles aren't great. I think I need to go through the rest of my (mercifully small) backlog and do the same over the next few weeks. Accessibility takes work.
By an unquestionable margin as well.
The short I posted this morning outperformed my latest 2 videos in combined watch time after just 6 hours. It's 1/10th the length and took 1/20th the effort. I know shorts are a different beast from standard videos, but it amuses me. Maybe one day I'll understand YouTube, but it is not this day. 🫠
