The amount of gathering one has to do to get the amount of materia needed to PENTAMELD gathering gear is nuts... On the upside, I've got all my gear pentamelded, just tools now which need a buttload of 20 perception ones that ima chew through zzzz....

Once it's done it's done though.

It's very "I hope you rolled good traits". It's either good or it's meh. I've had one where I shat out leeches every time I healed. And spawned zombie cats at the end of every round.

Oh god the going first put me square in the sun too holy shit 😭 I think what helped me was getting into a flow with it and whittling down the gauge to juuust about broken, so the next turn when he goes big boom on me, I could tail stun with gypceros stagger and skip it. That and banking rides, too
