Derek Walcottβs βLove After Love.β One of my favorite poems that holds the meaning of true self love. Also, Rilkeβs βGeh bis an Deiner Sehnsucht Randβ (βGo to the Limits of your Longingβ), both in German and in a fave English translation, because of its bravery.

Decided to repurpose an old sketch for a new message from our giant pal: Protect Your Neighbors and Abolish ICE. Link in the next post to download and share a high-res version of the artwork, use it however you want. Maybe weβll do t-shirts or something and donate the proceeds?

In all of your work (from the cosmetics to the portraits), to me, the subjects have a depth to them, a weight, a feeling of being β¨Moreβ¨. Thatβs whatβs always been memorable about your art for me. Itβs all valuable.
