I like 'beat the backlog' better, but I'm surprised you never went back for prime 4. You seemed curious about it.
You can 1000% right. It's just that thinking too hard about anything gets into 'no ethical consumption under capitalism' which is fine. Just not in the holiday spirit.

To add onto this, AI witch hunting is some 'purity testing' dogma. If one drop of bad (AI) blood is all it takes to destroy something then I reject that whole concept.
Games are made by so many people, hate the parts that are slop, like the parts that say something meaningful.
Should we care if AI slop can be hidden? If something looks bad either it was AI or the artist is bad. Either way, it doesn't deserve our attention.
It sucks that we have to be that critical of everything, but people being lazy is how we get slop in the first place.
He's either fooled by AI hype and thinks he's helping. Or he plans to sell the company and is using the current hot buzzword to pump the price.

Having a good ending is maybe the most important part of games to me.

Oh! I played and beat this one recently.
Loved the characters, Scarlet steals every scene she's in through force of personality.
Gameplay is a good mix of unique units and the map strategy layer of something like a hearts of iron.
The ending gets much too hard, so adjust difficulty then.
Happy that they saw the hype gap that silksong left and decided to slot directly into that... but really I hope they are able to release it when they are ready and it's a smash hit.
