His name is Santiago. This has always been my experience with Latino men. Kind, respectful, chivalrous. And yea, outside of random acts of kindness, often real fun.
Those of you looking for the worst in people are only finding the worst in you.
A Good Samaritan, a gentleman, helped shovel out my ca. I didn't ask for the help, but accepted his kind offer. I offered him money for a good coffee. He refused and said, I have a mother and sisters, of course I would help, I'm happy to. And he went on his way.
Does anyone have a magic number or email or solution for actual help @ups ?
They have lost my art,
closed investigations with no recourse, and every time I call I'm told something entirely different or inaccurate
Thank you all so much enjoying my painting. I love hearing the theories and thoughts around its significance in the show.

Add to it that I've lived in Newfoundland, New Paltz (where I went to the same university as John Turturro!), Nyack, the Catskills Mountains...I share a deep deep affinity with Severance!

Even before the show, I called this the "Severed Iceberg" series since I cut the iceberg off at the tip & left it floating in space: vulnerable & ever changing til their demise. I dissolved each layer of paint w/ water, melting the image, then bringing it back through subsequent passes.
This is the original image of my painting seen in Milchick's office in Apple TV's "Severance" season 2.

People are simple. We all need someone to be mad at. I say pin it all on your ex, be nicer to your neighbors, and get on with your life.
Never has my iceberg painting looked better!

Major congratulations to Tramell Tillman on his Emmy win for Severance!
So honored to have shared space in a way w/ this exceptional actor. The character of Seth Milchick is deep and layered (like an iceberg, get it?!), one of the more fascinating & intriguing I've witnessed.

Dr. Joel Fleischman 🐈⬛ demands Labor Day
The closest I'll get to being in @artforum?
This article could have used more tip of the iceberg metaphor but it is a good read about Severance's concept and the ills of capitalism.
Spoiler: no iceberg nor office art nor aesthetics discussed. Also, major show spoilers.

The mark of the brush is the adjective in the visual poem of a 2-dimensional scene. Painting with oil on the slick Yupo paper, gives the memories of a distant land visited, a lyricism as the brush dances elegantly and freely across the surface.
