Very sad that the podcast is coming to an end. Such a great resource for us newbie physics teachers. My surviving for 4.5 years so far is in part down to you and that feeling of being part of a big physics teaching family that the podcast gave me. Thank you so much!
ANY not βandββ¦β¦.
Thanks. Though I have found that it doesnβt seem to matter how much I labour the point, students still get in a muddle. And magic tips?
Students muddle Newtonβs third law pairs (which act on different objects) with finding the resultant force on a single object. The jump to the conclusion in the last box feeds this misconception??
More opportunities for practical. New school for me with more emphasis on practical. If it hadnβt been for lots of practical at school I wouldnβt have done a Physics degree. So important for enjoyment of the subject for many.
I had the same problem as Rebecca when I pinned it.
Ah ha. Have found out how to pin. Click 3 horizontal lines in top left corner of screen (phone for me) and choose βfeedsβ can then search for and add this feed :-)
Are people using this platform or threads most? I wonβt manage more than one once term starts!! #iteachphysics
Yep, thatβs the one - I have that pinned already as someone posted a magic link! How to unpin the physics one?
How do I pin this? Someone posted a link to pin the uk science Ed one (itβs getting late - I canβt remember the hashtag for it!)
