That is super adorable, sheesh

Yep but SOME improvement is better than zero improvement.
Just have to keep fighting for the improvement.
In each of my careers - coding, locksmithing and art - there has been sanding/editing and dammit I am sick of it.
You can definitely tell when it gets skipped though.
The fun is, you'll get to find out in about 8 weeks!
Or men sliding unaccountably further right.
Aww! Wonder if he'll turn back to day-glo quicker than the returnees?
Yes!
This! Every time my partner asks me why I snark about Telemiracle it's that: medical needs should be adequately funded from government. Period.
Elaborate fundraisers should not be needed to cover the basics for children.
Yeah, that looks like the editor just gave up.
Alas. If only there ways the government there could course correct the insanity.
Thor is freakishly adorable
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.
"Did you check the battery?" or "Have you tried turning it off and then on again?"
(My third career and my first have a lot of the same dumb questions)
That's definitely been the conversation at our place about our next EV purchase: if we're going to support a horrifying government we'll be petty and support the one's that are working with us.
Basically, we're terrible.
Probably on the site - I've bought a selection of effinbird tees for when work really irritates me...
Two side by side images of my standing groundhog with shadow thermochromic print on 12β x 12β white washi paper. The groundhog stands on its hind legs. Itβs brown with black paws. On the left the shadows is colourless but on the right it is blue, because the print on the left has been heated above 30Β°C
Happy Groundhog Day! I am a fan of the absurdity of weather prognosticating rodents and celebrate Groundhog Day with my thermochromic linocut. The shadow is visible if the ambient temperature is <30Β°C and disappears when >30Β°C (and itβs a safe bet winter is over or you are overheating your home). π§΅
In our business there is a lot of repair work done on proprietary electronics - computers, parts of ag equipment, security stuff, vehicles - and a lot of his content has to do with it.
It's been a good way of demonstrating how politics effects EVERY effin thing even boring technical work.
Partner was the opposite about this one so this makes me laugh a bit.
And even if he/his business contributed to a hospital it does not even the tiniest make up for contributing to concentration camps being built.
You need to not knowingly contribute to atrocities at the absolute minimum.
Yeah... did computer science in the late 90s in AB. It was, if anything, a little conservative politically and definitely overwhelmingly hardcore pro capitalism. It was just that it wasn't 100% that way and I think that's what terrifies folks who feel universities are particularly left.
SW Sask does not look like that right now alas.
I am so pleased to hear this! Nice work Ele's Brother! (and the entire team of caregivers)
I mean I could if I went outside. Which I will never do again.
(until some point later today)
Occasionally I forget it's Fahrenheit in the US and I was thinking: wow that's downright springy already!
I've listened to Ezra Klein for a long, long time and yeah he's definitely *centre* left / sane-washing stuff. He does get some fantastic guests on his pods and I find he has good content but you do have to keep in mind he is very neoliberal and it shapes his approach.
Please enjoy my cartoon in today's Toronto Star
Poilievre lights emergency flares to beg Trump to invade Canada
Two good rules imo
It's great! A lot of cheesy sci-fi tropes to enjoy.
I chortled when I originally found out that large clusters of human junk DNA are just clusters of the remains of virus / retrovirus that didn't completely kill us off. Very nature has already DONE the best horror story plot lines.
That's great! Love the tiny details!
