Zara Larsson is the kindest individual l've ever met. She took photos, signed autographs & even did the #LushLife dance with the kids. The kids got the full #ZaraLarsson #BikeBus experience!! Thanks you to you and your team for riding with us. #Boots

I find myself agreeing with both Liden and Kiel here. It is an actual highway, and especially w/PBOT's jurisdiction ending at 65th, there's not really any way this stretch can be turned into a proper bikeway without complete redesign. Would rather see money for that section go to Vermont St

The response to the bike diverter fiasco last year and this shelter is part of the reason I became disillusioned with the Pearl and moved out (nvm how expensive it is). The framing of this lawsuit is very telling

Always nice when an uninspiring job provides skills you wouldn't appreciate until later.

I am a smoothie person too but acai bowls are so good when I know I'm about to start a long hard day. Surely of all the berry hybrids PNW has created we would have an equivalent...

Where do you get your puree? Only place I've ever found it is Trader Joe's and it was absurdly expensive

Ngl kinda surprised at the responses on the boards you posted given the age demographics shown here and the area it was held, but I guess I gotta check my biased in that regard

Thanks for the thread! I wanted to go but classwork got in the way. Planning on filling out the online survey tonight. How many people were there?

Whether it is tampering or not, I don't believe NBA has any ability to regulate that unless the team as a legal business entity is doing it

Under the current plan, Bel Air won’t be getting a subway station or a ventilation shaft, but Rosen still worries about the effects of digging and operating the line. In an interview, he recited an AI summary on the impacts of heavy rail underground, including β€œrumbling noises, perceptible shaking in nearby buildings, leading to annoyance, sleep disturbances, and potential structural issues over time,” he read. β€œβ€‹β€‹I mean, how do you do that to a residential community?”

Thoughts on abolishing the draft order and turning draft picks into the # of rookie "free agents" a team must sign? The pick round is just certain salary thresholds, still tradable but eliminates some of their value, turn the TV product into some form of college signing day announcements

I recognize they are under a lot of pressure and scrutiny (rightly so). I just don't want it to be used as a reason to grab power away from things that are working vs things that aren't

Why can't we empower the nonprofits and grassroots volunteers who are doing the work? It's tax money so city council should have some oversight (including critiquing their outreach and decision-making process), but there's a history of gov dictation of these types of efforts failing spectacularly

Every left-ish person who isn’t really following β€œthis whole transit thing” and says β€œfast frequent free” before scrolling on: they are trying to use fare evasion as a pretext for cutting funding. Plz help

I sometimes wonder if people's fear and demonization of other cultures is actually a result of the absence of cultural engagement in themselves and the uncomfortable feeling to recognize it

The advertising during the game stood out for a high number of celebrity cameos and advertisements for futuristic technology, particularly for products like electric vehicles, virtual reality and cryptocurrency.[136][137][138][139] There were many cryptocurrency-related ads drawing comparisons to dot-com commercials during Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000,[140][141] leading some to refer to the game as the "Crypto Bowl".[142][143]

It's cool that the ASL interpreters get introduced for the anthems, but why not continue to show them on the broadcast during the performance? Is there a separate tv broadcast entirely for the ASL community?

A good amount of the community dev class I'm taking right now has led to discussions of top-down gov policy and how ineffective (if not incredibly harmful) it ends up being. Yet here we go again πŸ™ƒ
