The very useful links in digital books are fabulous for folx who read on their phones, computers, or web browser enabled devices. They are repeat torture for #ElderCareCaretakers . I can't count the number of times I have had to be helpdesk so my parent can read the book whose title she clicked...
*frustrated scream* to nag or not to nag that is the question... #ElderCare #ParentingMyParent ok back to the grindstone.
I keep thinking I need a large bug zapper each time I see one of the drones following the Olympic competitors.
Someone really wants the Casey Blair item...
Not a fan of this current timeline.
Frustrating
Ugh. I have started 2 and stopped them. Earlier I tried 2 others and skipped to the end.
I don't have anything to read. *ignores huge TBR*.
I learned tonight that apparently my eldest nibling considers the Ilona Andrews Innkeeper series "our" thing, and by gifting a different nibling the graphic editions of Book 1, I broke the covenant.
Note: The eldest got the graphic audio full cast recordings years ago as bday presents.
I know... lol.
So... I might have discovered I have 4 copies of Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh... MMPB copies. Apparently, not unpacking and organizing my full print collection in years has consequences...
Found a couple more @authornalinisingh.bsky.social duplicates too...
Lol. Exactly!
Maybe next week when it hasn't vanished.
True! You never know else is going to happen.
I will also say the final group all had skates below their normal performance.
Seriously!!!! Almost like if you are the "face" you get jinxed. Like the Madden game cover each year.
So frustrating. Waiting for the final score but let's just say that wasn't what I expected!!!!
I had to switch to main channel because the other went to hockey which I like but...
Do we need to change channels?
Yeah!
Lol.
Nicely done!
There is a road leading into a nice housing area. The road has a landscaped center medium, room for cars to park on the outer curbside, and space to drive. One car out of all of the parked cars was up on bright yellow plastic blocks... no wheels to be seen. I have questions! #UrbanLiving #NotMine
She has quite the range within her world. And they are neatly grouped so you don't have to "start at the beginning". I started with a standalone at the time, Pastiche, and never looked back. After that one, I read them by group. Now I bounce around rereading by mood or inspiration.
Celia Lake because of Catherine Heloise and this review on SBTB smartbitchestrashybooks.com/reviews/ecli... .
I hope wherever Meka is that she has a Mektastic day!
Recipe the second was also a success. I riffed off an Japanese inspired beer stew, added mushrooms, onions, and rice wine vinegar. Need to change one more thing I think and it will be even better.
I am very pleased with how it turned out.
Recipe the first was a success. Sheet pan beef donars based on the NYT Cooking Recipe. Made some roasted peppers and onions to go into the base of the pita instead of leaving the vegetables raw (catering to the other person I am feeding). I did have micogreens and chopped tomato for freshness.
