And, because you're always just one or two failed funding cycles from ruin, you're constantly asking for more money than you actually need, and then you get the grants and need to hire people, and then later you don't want to fire them, and on it goes. 2/2
Took over a new module this semester, returned it to in person exams (due to..). Gave a sample paper, used some of those questions in the actual exam (being "nice") . Got the near enough exact same wrong answer from a quarter to a third of the class. Guess what they had used to "study"?
