Our third OPAM workshop on how to easily build reproducible manuscripts in R is now online! For those of you that missed it but want to learn how to make great looking manuscripts, check out the workshop given by @jgeller1phd.bsky.social at the link below!
www.opamconference.com/online-works...
In this workshop, Jason will show us that making your manuscript look great doesnt need to be seen as a lot of extra work! Using services like Quarto mean it is just a matter of a few minutes and sometimes it will look even better than what the journals can do!
For many, making their manuscript look aesthetic seems like an unnecessary hassle, and there is no shortage of manuscripts online that look like they pulled directly form word and are intended for reviewers rather than being prepared for a larger audience
It used to only be the job of journals to make your manuscript look good. But as more and more researchers preprint their work to get their latest findings out faster and fulfil open science mandates, now more then ever it is up to researchers to ensure their manuscripts look publication ready
We are one week away from our next OPAM online workshop! This one will feature Dr Jason Geller (Boston College) who will show us how to use Quarto to make beautiful manuscripts! To join this workshop, sign up via our website!
