Dracosan Armoured Transport. I painted this along sidemy Sentinel. Similar issues with going overboard on the weathering medium. Got frustrated and put the minis aside for a while.

Aethon Heavy Sentinel. Fully magnetized weapons and a lot of Newsh weathering medium. Went overboard with the medium at first and had to spend a lot of time correcting my colors. I do adore this mini, though.

First time painting Vashtorr. I was intimidated by this mini at first. The mini wasn't too bad once I got started, though.

The centerpiece of my army, Vampire on Zombie Dragon. Chat voted to make the dragon an undead green dragon. So I got to figure out how to make rotting green flesh. Not a fan of the Vampire sculpt, though.

Terrorgiest. I had a lot of fun painting this mini. It was fairly simple, but time consuming. Just three main colors, but a lot of surface area and trying to get the right "feel" to make it look dead and rotting.

The skeleton warriors were the first unit I painted for the army. I started them during a 12 hour stream and nearly finished. Viewers could add their name to ThePaintingHorde. We had about 30 people particapte.

Crypt Horrors. Played around with a lot of different shades to find a mix that gave the classic green-flesh color for these minis. There was a surprising amount of customization for a set of three minis.

It's basically just painting 10 zombies and a necromancer. That's the thought that gave me the motivation. Your undead minis look great. I bet your Corpse Cart will look awesome as well.
I owned a Corpse Cart almost 15 years ago and never painted it. It was so intimidating to me at the time that I ended up selling it primed. I got this mini recently and it was a really pleasant project.

I love this metal vargulf mini! I had a VC army back in 6th-7th edition Fantasy. Sold it after the game was canceled and thought I'd never see the game again. One of my major hobby regrets.

Thanks! I'm trying to use a lot of contrast style paints on this army. So his black robes were painted with Black Legion contrast over a white zenithal highlight. I then highlighted with PA Dark warm grey, then warm grey.
Back to the Old World! I started a Vampire Counts army with the release of The Old World. I've only played a few games, but I have a lot of minis painted. This is my only necromancer so far.

This metal Necron Lord was given to me by a friend, along with his old Necron army. The staff was broken, so I replaced it with a plastic Lord's staff. It feels great moving around a metal character mini on the game board.
