Finally got rid of the GLEW library, so TB now works on Wayland without any tweaks!

Sorry!
Ahem
You know what I can live with that.
Yep!
Hello.
Exactly what we were going for!
Hey guys, look! After playing Quake Brutalism Jam 3, I decided to open up TrenchBroom and see what Quake level editing is like these days.
This is way more intuitive than the old days with Hammer and Qed. I made a little brutalist buttress element!
(Thanks to @makkon.bsky.social for the textures!)
I've been knee deep into TrenchBroom, will probably post an annoying amount about how fun and simple the tool is once you get it up and running to be used in unity. its just great being able to block out a map in like 30 mins. I will get back to modeling characters soon! #indiedev #gamedev
Bit late, but here is TrenchBroom 2025.4: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.4 Release Candidate 3 is out: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.4 Release Candidate 2 with bug fixes and performance improvements: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
I made some nice overall performance improvements which should help with big maps, specifically. These should all make it to the upcoming 2025.4 release. See github.com/TrenchBroom/...
Indeed I am!
Hey I agree!
Thanks!
TrenchBroom 2025.4 Release Candidate 1 is out: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.3 is out: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
Beware that the updater wipes the folder that contains TrenchBroom.exe on Windows. Donβt put stuff there!
Please consider testing the auto updater: 1) install 2025.3 Release Candidate 4 2) in preferences, enable prereleases 3) check for updates and install 2025.3-RC5 when it is offered. Report any issues on github. Thanks!
TrenchBroom 2025.3 Release Candidate 5 is up: github.com/TrenchBroom/... -- users of RC 4 should get an update notification if they enabled pre-release updates
We fixed the assimp importer so that it displays models with the correct orientation. For example, gltf models were rotated by 90 degrees about the Z axis. If your custom toolchain compensated for this, you may need to adapt it now.
TrenchBroom 2025.3 Release Candidate 4: github.com/TrenchBroom/... -- why so many release candidates? For testing the auto updater -- which hopefully will work correctly as of now.
By using the rotate and scale tools while in vertex mode.
Being able to transform individual vertices of a brush using the rotate and scale tools is an often requested feature, so I have opened github.com/TrenchBroom/... for it. You can help out by downloading a build from github.com/TrenchBroom/..., testing it and giving some feedback in the PR comments.
TrenchBroom 2025.3 Release Candidate 3 is up! Yep, we skipped RC2 - deal with it! github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.3 Release Candidate 1 is up: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.2 Release Candidate 1 is out: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
TrenchBroom 2025.1 is out: github.com/TrenchBroom/...
