We see them still standing by the door. Then the next panel an undetermined amount of time has past. Asriel is standing one foot slightly up, impatient, Noelle is sitting in the grass trying to amuse herself by picking flowers.
Asriel: "Hey Noelle? I think I'm gonna head in and check on Dess and Kris" We see Asriel looking worried as he talks. "Will you be fine out here?" Noelle: "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" She has tears in her eyes, scared to be by herself. "Don't leave me along PLEEEAAAASEEEEEE!!!!" Asriel: "Okay! Okay! Okay! Relax. I won't leave you Noelle. You go back to playing, I have to text someone. Okay?" Noelle: "okay..."
We see Noelle picking more flowers, but looking less happy. Asriel is still standing impatiently, phone in hand and texting someone. The Next panel an indeterminate amount of time has passed. Noelle is drawing in the grass with a stick and Asriel is a few steps away, talking on the phone.
We see the the red doors again. Noelle and Asriel gone with a long shadow implying that its late evening. It's night. We see the red doors are open, the mysterious darkness gone, displaying the inside of a simple shed. There is a police cruiser parked nearby. Undyne is talking to Toriel. Rudy is talking to Asgore. A few steps away Asriel is worriedly talking to Napstablook. In the distance you can see Noelle and Dember's mom talking on the phone.

We see a flash of darkness seemingly leaking out of the crack the butterfly went into. Kris stares at it curiously and reaches out a hand, but is interrupted by Noelle shouting their name. Noelle: "KRIS!" She pulled their arm away. "We're not allowed to be out of your Brother and Dess's sight." Noelle: "Come on - Let's head back." Kris sticks out their tongue at Noelle. Noelle, looking annoyed: "Kris..."
Noelle's voice is heard from off screen. Noelle: "DESS!!!! ASRIEL!!!!!!" We look back at Asriel and December looking shocked and disoriented from how long Noelle is yelling. We hard cut to Dess and Asriel in front of the red door. December is kneeling down and putting a hand on Noelle's shoulder, looking at her. Asriel is behind her with a hand on Decembers shoulder, but looking at the red doors in front of them. Noelle: "And I told them not to go in but - but they did and i was too scared to go in after and -" December: "Whoa whoa whoa. Noelle. Calm down. It's okay." Asriel: I'll go get them. Dess, can you stay with Noelle?" Asriel scratches the back of his head awkwardly. Unsurprised by Kris' misbehaving.
December puts a hand on her hip and looks amused. December: "Pff - you'll go get them? I happen to know for a fact you're still scared of the dark." Asriel looks sheepish talks in a lower voice: "That was supposed to stay a secret." December points at Asriel. December: "Azzy, you stay with Noelle." She continues " I'll be out in five and then we can head back to Mrs' Dreemurs for lunch. no harm no foul." We see the red door is now open, the inside unnaturally dark. Asriel is holding Noelle's hand and looks relieved he doesn't have to go in due to his darkness fear. Asriel: "Thanks Dess." December: "No prob. i'll be back with Kris in a second."
We see the Red door slams shut behind December and Asriel and December stand waiting for her to come back.

December walks to the right, arms swinging and looking carefree. December: "That's what I've been doing. And that's what I'm gonna keep doing until the last day of high school." She strikes a strong pose. "Then Boom! That's the last ya'll see of December Holiday!" December and Asriel sit on a log as they continue to talk. Asriel: "You're not even gonna visit?" December: "Nope! I'm getting out of here and heading for the big city." She taps her chin and looks up as she imagines her plan. December: "I have it all planned out. I'm gonna get a new phone so my mom can't call me - I'll get a cute job - Like a barista. I'll get an aprtment with a few roomies. Then finish my degree with honors!" As December talks we see Kris and Noelle in the background looking at another bug. A Butterfly.
Asriel and December talk as the scene zooms in on Kris and Noelle looking at the butterfly. We see the wings look a bit odd.. Asriel: "You're really not gonna look back?" December: "Well- maybe I'll visit Noelle" Asriel: "Eesh - Ice cold" December: "Fine fine. I'll visit you too. Happy?" Asriel: "Hehehehehe- yeah...." We see Noelle is amazed by the butterfly, but Kris is curious and reaches out to touch it. But it flutters up and away to avoid the touch.
No Dialogue is on this page. We see Kris and Noelle race to follow the butterfly. The Butterfly is heading for some Twin Red Doors, covered in vines. We see the butterfly from Kris' Pov as they just barely miss grabbing it, the bug fleeing into the crack of the door and disappearing.

First panel starts with younger Noelle and Kris looking at a beetle. Kris' eyes is covered by their bangs, they have a red headband with devil horns, and in the background we can hear Asriel and December mid conversation. Asriel: "I was actually looking into sending an application there too!" December: "For real? Dude, if we both make it, we should become roomies!" We see Kris reach for the bug and then start to tease Noelle with it. Asriel: "Um.. Kris..." December: "Kris! The bugs go in the cage!"
We see a close up of kris placing the beetle into a little bug box. December: "The point of bug hunting is to catch and admire them! Not use them to torture eachother." Asriel: "But making them battle in little bug fights is still on the table, yeah?" December: "Yeah Azzy. DUH." And continues "The point is - no more using the bugs to scare Noelle. Capiche?" Noelle sticks out her tongue and blows a raspberry at Kris. Kris turns around and gives an annoyed look before sticking their tongue out as well. Noelle flips them off in return. Asriel and December watch the exchange. December: "Dude, your mom is not paying us enough to babysit." Asriel: "I don't get paid?" December: "Fine. She doesn't pay me enough."
Asriel and December continue their school talk while Kris and Noelle flip eachother off. December: "Anyway, is there anywhere else you're thinking of applying?" Asriel: "Well there's this school of tech and design I've been looking into but eh.... My mom wants me to apply to in state universities." December: "Dude, Screw your mom. You should apply where you want." Asriel: "Hey, Be nice to my mom. She is paying for my tuition after all." December: "She's a nice lady but -" Asriel: "But...?" December: "Meh. But nothin'." She continues. "You should just do what you want. Screw Parents!"
