That is true but this is NOT a nation with democratic systems -- it's an empire run for rich oligarchs & their whims for more money, more money & more money.
When a citizen can be detained, transported across state lines overnight, and authorities offer answers only after public outrage, something is deeply wrong. Due process and basic rights are not optional. Democratic systems require transparency and accountability.
