Undershirt- altered a free mandarin collar shirt pattern by sewfyi. dilute bleach bath to lighten bedsheets to the correct color. Encased seams with a zigzag stitch bc I don’t have a serger. Used leather cord to false “lace up” the front. The shirt actually opens at an invisible zip in the back.
Beautiful Bolaire mask by @dangerousladies.ca . I 3D modeled and printed some attachment points to attach elastic to the mask!

Added a cape with big snaps directly on the armor, sewn to foam. Similarly used Velcro and d rings to attach armor at the shoulders and sides
The breastplate was also made with a duct tape pattern. The beacon symbol was 3d printed and glued on.
Shoe armor! He has silly pointy shoes. I used duct tape to make my own pattern for this
More progress pics of the armor. I ended up altering a shin armor pattern from kamui cosplay, and added a zipper at the inner side. The kneecap armor pieces attach via elastic around my knee.
Armor was a struggle. For the shin and forearm I tried to pattern it myself first. (And quickly gave up)
For the shapes at the base of the glaive, I cut and dremmeled Eva foam. To hide a pvc screw that connects the blade to the pole, I used fringe trim, which is perfectly included in the design. I have plans to go back and 3d model and print the pommel.
For the glaive, I started by crafting the pieces that sit on the blade. These were craft foam covered in worbla, with bondo sanded to smooth the texture. I used Eva foam for the blade and plastazote to show off the LEDs- plastazote behaves just like EVA but diffuses light!
