there are lots of folks who want to help you get back into it. you can search for “mask blocs” or “clean air orgs” in your city to see if there are groups near you who offer free masks, tests, zines, air purifiers, events. some can deliver/ship supplies too. or dm me and i can help ya search!
if you can mask up at a protest, you can in more places. shared air and surveillance exist in, well uh, all public spaces. pick some and start there. mask up with a buddy (it's fun!). mask up for the people who can't.
so considering masking up again might bring uncomfortable feelings*. but we want things to change. does change require comfort?
*speaking to ppl who can safely mask and have access but actively choose not to
willfully ping ponging disease back and forth to each other is violence, too. they convinced you to normalize that.
