Bach, I'm not drawing that line. Like you, I'm talking about both existing simultaneously, not in conflict. I believe humans are capable of bringing that about, with enough willingness on all sides to listen with open heart and mind to all concerns and idea. The Green Party could lead on this.

As illegal international aggression once again highlights the need for investment in renewable energy, it is crucial the govt do everything possible to protect households from bearing the brunt of surging energy prices - and to ensure no energy company profits from this war.

It works well in Wales with reduced deaths and injuries. The main issue has been with 20mph limits being introduced where there is no apparent need or benefit, and drivers not taking them seriously. There's a fine balance to consider when deciding which areas will be 20.

I'm sorry you experienced this. I'm still a committed member of the Green Party for so many reasons, but I too long for adult, nuanced debate about trans rights and women's rights; the knotty work of establishing how the two do not have to be mutually exclusive. I hope the day will come.

Crude oil prices, showing a very sharp increase in the last day, from around 65 to 101 dollars per barrel..
Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy.
This isn't an "energy crisis". It's a fossil fuel crisis.
44% of UK electricity came from renewables in 2025. More of that plus an electrified economy => no more oil shocks.

Markie's guys are circling... wait till George is walking on his own...
But the speed cameras will catch the culprit!

1 day left, be her voice. A feather pecked hen trying to reach her head our of a cage.
IT'S NOW OR NEVER! π¨π₯
The consultation on banning cages for UK hens closes TOMORROW, 9 March.
Every year, 7 million hens are trapped in cages in the UK. Unable to forage, dustbathe, see the light of day. π

When you (and I) were young, War Crimes still often were punished.
I see people posting about today's crimes: 'When this is over...' and I wonder, will this ever be over? And if so, what will 'over' look like? Who will oversee justice?
We're in a whole new paradigm now, and there's no going back.

We like to think there'll be an 'after this' as there was with WW2. But as we plunge further into global polycrises, whatever comes after this looks highly unpredictable, and not at all reassuring. It will be less about global war trials, and more about local communities working together to survive.
