Sole trader at the time. Ex cleared out the tax account, L had to apply for time to pay, which resulted in the arrears.
I suppose its a lesson in reading terms and conditions right the way down.
Eldest has discovered that she can never have a postgraduate loan because she went a month into arrears due to her ex clearing out her bank account 8 years ago. It's apparently policy to never allow anyone funding if they've ever had arrears.
They better keep an eye out for Apophis.
