Sorry, completely missed this. No, this is a different cave - while it used to support Hildegardeβs tomb bat, the level of disturbance and construction above the cave has prompted them to abandon it. We found very few bats during this survey.
Part of the continued emergence of bats from St Clair cave in Jamaica. There are an estimated 2 million #bats using this cave - 10 different species. An incredible sight. π¦ #Jamaica
