I don't feel as despondent about this RC compared to normal.

However this has been replaced by some again against my Airbnb host who is trying to make me pay for a broken key and lock due to what is essentially user error.

Three close games. Lost game 1 by being overrun, game 2 I ran them out of threats. G3 I punted a cold read

G1 lost because they overwhelmed the board. G2 got super low, had to play tight living in fear of a shock to the face but pulled out a win. G3 turbo monument with answers for a win

R4: Izzet prowess
G1 and G2 I got down to burst lighting range. G1 I had the counter since they needed to kick it. G2 I snuck a win at 2 life with aggressive monument plays.

Sucks to knock out someone I know but we ball

R3: Izzet lessons (control version)
G1 is interesting but I am on the draw and fall behind and struggle to catch up bc of 3 maindeck snare. G2 I see lands and no action

R2 UW flash
Won G1 as my opponent didnt have much. G2 stoic sphinx on 4 and... I can't kill it. G3 I answer the sphinx but fall too far behind and can't win.

R1: Elementals

G1 they had two spells snares to counter my draw 3, and they were able to pull ahead and win. G2 they got stuck on two lands and I stifled their draws to win. G3 I drew all the correct removal at the right time to win.

So fun fact about the EU gate is that it's supposed to work with Canadian passports.

Not like they had a big sign with the Canadian flag (notably no American flag) saying you could use the egates or anything... Oh wait...

G1 I fall a bit behind but the opponents sequence played into my hand and I won. G2 I kept mono removal and sandbagged my talet to an easy win

Ran away G1 with the whole setup. G2 I somehow accidentally forgot to sideboard but still got a t2 talent down to win

R3: Jeskai control
30 min G1 played at a fast pace and barely lost. G2 I stabilize and get a win. G3 I get low, it goes to turns we draw but I had advantage for the long game

R2: Dimir excruciator
40 min G1 with a win. 3 min G2 with quick concede. Win G3 in turns with a very aggro start

R1: Sultai reanimator
G1 I had to keep a not great 6 with only agna qula as my land. Stalled out on 3rd land too long.
G2 opponent had just more disruption than I did and I couldn't stabilize
