New paper out โย Why do Swiss Germans struggle with the English STRUT vowel (but, sun, up)? It doesnโt exist in Swiss German. Findings: KV > Gymi, boys > girls, Netflix/music/gaming โ no effect.

Adrian Leemann und Grace Kummer von unserem Institut sind am Projekt beteiligt.

Unbekannter Anruf โ wie meldest du dich? รltere sagen oft nur โJa?โ oder ihren Nachnamen. Jรผngere รผberraschen: Sie nennen hรคufiger Vor- und Nachnamen. Offenbar spielt der Wunsch nach klarer Identifikation und Individualitรคt eine grรถssere Rolle als vermutet โ auch regional unterschiedlich.
