Autostade - The Accidental Football Stadium Montreal's Autostade operated from 1966-1977 and was never meant to be a professional sports venue, but the city tried its best.

To be fair, this was a time when Shea Stadium was considered major league, too.

In any event, my favorite ever Canadian outdoor venue has to be the Autostade. Equal parts awful location, horrible safety, and miserable experience.
