The students @ Border Kindness Children's Empowerment Center will host their 3rd community animal care event on Saturday, March 1. The event provides community members and their animals with access to a dog + cat food and educational activities for children on how to care for and protect animals!

CHIRLA condemns the use of Guantanamo Bay detention camps in Cuba to incarcerate immigrants who consider the U.S. their home. It is grotesque, inhumane, & costly to imprison immigrants at Guantanamo, where they face indefinite detention & a lack of due process.
