Maybe it was to indicate that George was urinating on a public road, not on the bridleway from Grange Farm. It wouldn't be unreasonable for them to have met Rex on that path, his boat us down that way. #TheArchers

If I recall correctly the explanation turned out to be a big anticlimax & didn't really fit the original line.
I've always suspected the SW responsible thought it was a humorous throwaway line they'd never have to explain. How they underestimate the listeners 😄 #TheArchers

It wasn't long after Kate had returned from South Africa & she was going though a particularly hedonistic, 'sod everything & everybody' phase at the time. #TheArchers

It was about that time (maybe even the same party) where Kate & Toby threw dye in the Home Farm swimming pool.
It was after Toby slept with Kate that Rex uttered the throwaway line 'we don't want a repeat of what happened in Brighton', which haunted the SWs for years afterwards. #TheArchers

Rex was the dull, sensible one & Toby the reckless, stupid one from the beginning. Though admittedly their voices were hard to tell apart. #TheArchers

I enjoyed the first series but I haven't got round to watching the other 2 (OH wasn't fussed & I often don't get round to watching things if he's not). The third series didn't get as good reviews as the first two. #TheArchers

I posted something about Tracy's time in the dairy on Thursday. @stevebrooks.bsky.social suggested it sounds like the timing of the storyline has been changed & the error wasn't spotted. #TheArchers

Tracy is a character who has changed a lot since she was in her 20s. Many listeners are hoping George will make a similar change.
If it's plausible for him, it's plausible for Tracy. #TheArchers

I don't think it's ever been suggested she's not clever. In fact she was portrayed as a bit devious when she worked in the dairy.
Away from work, she was horrible to Emma over shopping Keith to the police. That same 'familee' thing we've had recently with the Grundys. ##TheArchers
