When cruelty becomes an essential aspect of state power and coercion itβs always applied to folks with little power. I believe the real purpose for this performative cruelty is to solidify political control by getting more of the βrightβ folks to hate together.
A long time ago my daughter told me I should listen. Started when she called me pulled over on the road because she was crying too hard to drive (ep when Eursulon finally met Kalaya).
