It's been a minute. Holiday chaos, upcoming trip chaos,turning 70 this year chaos. I'm spending the next 11 days cruising the Western Caribbean, including Belize, the setting on my first MG book. I have my laptop and four days "at sea," and the goal of completing my first draft. Fingers crossed!

I remember reading it to my daughter on a road trip. I couldn't get through it. The same thing happened with The Velveteen Rabbit. My daughter is now 42, btw. The emotional punch is why I have both books on my list for this book challenge.
