Talking to people I look up to is hard

The cups I've done so far this season I've been doing something I've wanted to be doing. Being consistent! 2025 has been amazing for gaining consistency. My first Day 2, First top cut at cups, 3 finals, 5 top cuts! I'm proud of my progress this year. Let's do even better in 2025!

This is just facts, it's why indie devs are the go to, they have what AAA Studios lost. Passion, creativity and not being capped by coorperate big wigs that only care about profit.

It's embarassing to see the community become so divided. But certain people don't help it. Don't see Bloodborne fans on each others necks about it. Final message is, lower your expections, but not your passion. Be a community, we have so many lovely people in it and it'd dumb to see people fighting.

The industry is cruel. Good and talented people constantly get overlooked and thrown away like trash. The passion is gone in AAA. I want to dream, I want to believe. But statistics are undeniable. Crash 5 got unplugged and maybe a Spyro 4 did to, we may not ever know. (4/?)

But I can't ignore that as a business where making profits and hitting sales numbers is the absolute must, it just doesn't look good for our Purple friend. I openly encourage you all to make fan art, make animations, mod the games, show your passion. But also just to lower your expectations (3/?)

Microsoft are realistically no better than Activision. They may try it with Spyro but then it won't make enough money again. Looking at it from a sales standpoint in the industry, it just wasn't good enough. I really want another game, I'm practically aching for it. (2/?)

Thread time: The truth is about Spyro is that the Reignited Trilogy didn't make enough money, and neither did Crash 4, so they pulled the plug on Crash 5. The sad truth of the AAA industry is that it is about making money. Meeting strict deadlines and sucking every loose penny out of you. (1/?)

I see both sides of the arguement, but people like this like to look at the facts and not speculation. It's very easy to be annoyed. In the end we all want the same thing. I don't speculation that amounts to nothing and I harshly despise the people who will go out of their way to hate message

Think people are just sick to death of hopes being put up only to be dashed. That get's really annoying really quickly
