As Iโm passionate about helping others starting their research journeys, here are my top tips for Q1:
1. Meet the team and ensure youโre seeing them regularly. The doctoral and post-doctoral members will offer you invaluable words of wisdom, advice and signposting.

Itโs been 3/12 since I started my pre-doc fellowship and the question I ask myself daily is, โam I doing enough?โ The transition from clinician to clinical researcher has been incredibly exciting and it is important that I make the most of each day.

FDA releases draft guidance on pulse oximeter study recommendations
The FDA announced its draft guidance on recommendations for studies assessing pulse oximeters to ensure the devices perform similarly in individuals with different skin pigments, according to a press ...
"The work by @US_FDA underscores the fact that data from oximeters is only one part of the larger clinical picture, and that strong clinical judgement is still central to medical decision making," said ATS member Indira Gurubhagavatula, MD, MPH, chair of SRN assembly. www.healio.com/news/pulmono...
