Finally, I added tables with data on directors and awards, and information cards with links to Wikipedia, in case you want to learn more about particular film or person.
On the other hand, I wanted to be able to quickly see the nominees year-by-year. So I made the timeline area with years labels interactive.
It all started as an explorable datavis across all nominated directors, with their lifespan timelines and directed films plotted.

Having fun with #wikipedia data. Plotted Belarusian places with foundation or first mention date marked (6.5% in total, somewhat 1.5k out of 23k). The uneven regional distribution of the existing data is striking, with the highest ratio in the Homyel region (37%)

But while Adobe suspended their services in Belarus Figma is a good choice. Need more practice to be comfort with it, but it is fine for my needs so far.
Hovewer, some features I just could not find even in plugins: predictable shape distortion, text on path (?!)
Trite, it's gravely depends of your workflow.
I miss some Illustrator options like smart guides, flexible character and paragraph settings, objects transformation and distribution options, shape editing filters and effects, brushes and patterns, usual hotkeys and UI overall.
