If you haven’t yet given #WinOrLose a watch, you’ve been missing out. Pixar brought the heart of their films into the television medium and it worked so well. One of the best #Pixar projects of recent years.
Even though there’s a 100% chance that…if you know, you know…I’m very happy that Pixar didn’t left empty handed thanks to Win or Lose getting some wins at the Annies including just now…Best Limited Series.

5. Win or lose (Pixar) This show was amazing, maybe my favorite thing Pixar has ever made. Building everything up from every characters perspective, while not ground breaking, was flawlessly executed and it had some of their finest character work in their whole back catalogue.
When I was in film school I got a $25 general admission ticket to attend the Annie Awards. 12 years later and I got to work on one of the nominated shows!

Because it was next in the queue, and I somehow never heard of it, I watched Win or Lose. This 8 episode series Pixar did that shows the same week of this baseball game from 8 stories. Each child/parent is more traumatized than the last, omg. I recommend!

I finally got to watch Win or Lose (haven’t had Disney+) and I can’t recommend it enough. A Pixar animated series that’s SO funny & pointed. I had to go back to the 1st episode & restart, intent on watching the entire thing with my husband. THIS is the kind of art I want to make. Man, it’s so good.

I thought it was absolutely great! The episodic nature worked to allow them to do some fun things with narrative structure and timing.

If you find yourself watching the Disney+ documentary “Meet the Pickles”, about the making of the animated series “Win or Lose”, 12 minutes in or so (during the video game montage) you’ll hear some music by yours truly!

Just watched the end of #winorlose with the bug and we both adored it. It's such a perfect series showing both adult and child struggles with mental health, wish I'd had more stories like this when I was a kid it would have helped my anxiety SO MUCH but it's so lovely that this generation does 🥰
