i'd almost prefer to assume that these conversations are all bots i haven't clocked, but idk if it's more comforting to wander an ever-more-Dead Internet minefield that antagonizes my every identity, or to believe the brainrot is so pervasive that these people are cognitively identical to bots. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This has been an insane-making conversation I've fallen into repeatedly (as a mixed Black person) where random commenters reflexively assume/accuse misogynoir... and then also (as a Jew) they'll pull some "how is voting for Hamas" quasi-Zionist whataboutism. 😑 (also not in the US voting anything...)

A day later and no major national news org has covered what they're doing in Kansas.

This is the flip side of the hyper focus on trans issues by the right. The national media ignores what's actually being done to trans people.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

I've noticed Steam is wildly inconsistent in tracking hours sometimes, but only recently? I have no recollection of the 'time spent' numbers being noticeably off until I was playing the Alters and it kept flipping back between like, a dozen hours and 90+ hours (I take my time ok). Bad sync I think.
