Tbh, I think it's this one.

But what Al didn't account for was finding himself actually caring abt that ridiculous, duck-obsessed, absurd creature.

Supported by the fact that Amir had to pass when asked "other than Niffty, who in the hotel do you think Al would genuinely care for?" #radioapple

I mean, I'm willing to hear other theories out but I can't even fathom what else it could mean-- and I will definitely not be told it doesn't mean anything/I'm being delulu. Not today Satan.

And that's literally it. Those are the three options.

1.) It represents Alastor's goal in S3.
2.) It represents a romantic connection with Lucifer.
3.) It represents Al's working relationship working with Lucifer as his executioner.

(also S5 hasn't even been officially greenlit yet so he wouldn't be aware of future subplots like that)

2) It alludes to Alastor ascending royalty through a relationship with Lucifer. Though I do think this is POSSIBLE, that seems like it'd be a potential subplot for later seasons (given that Lu hasnt even accepted his split from Lilith yet) and idt Amir would give us an Easter egg that far out.

1) Alastor is vying for Lucifer's crown. S2 already foreshadows Al trying to manipulate Lucifer in some way. It sorta feels like a reach if his end goal is truly to replace the king of Hell, BUT Al's ambitious and all about power so it's possible that this was an Easter egg for Al's motives in S3.

BUT given that it's a call-out to Lucifer specifically and not just royalty/the Morningstar family as a whole, we got two other possible options here for what this could mean-

OKAY OKAY STAY WITH ME - bc I originally thought it was just a random crown to symbolize Al working for the Morningstars as their executioner (if the executioner theory is correct). And that could still be true.

Charlie and Lilith's crowns for comparison. Like no, that crown lapel mirrors the one Lucifer wears, it's not just any royalty symbol.

How am I just now noticing that this isn't just any crown. It's specifically **Lucifer's** crown. Gold with three prongs, middle being the longest, and balls on the tips. OML, I'm gonna be sick, this isn't a breadcrumb, it's an entire feast ⚰️⚰️⚰️ #radioapple

Yep. RA aside, I have no doubt abt Lu&Lil's fate. Storytelling wise, the ring emphasis is to build up the moment he takes it off. I'm hoping for an amicable split! Love e/o but grew apart + time to figure out who they are outside of e/o. + healthy divorced co-parents would be some excellent rep! 🙌
