Even when Pixar manages to make something good nowadays, you immediately find out that the director was forced to scrap a bunch of stuff that would've made the film a million times better because the executives thought it'd make it "too political."

So far I've adored everything about the game, but I've just started Leon's half of the game...so hoping that doesn't change.
hey look a fun history lesson!
Apparently it's like this on every platform. The PS5 demo has this bizarre amount of film grain that just looks horrid. Genuinely what happened here?
the only veterans that conservatives like are ones who aren't around anymore to voice their dissent.
BREAKING: It's been over a week since the release of RE9 and Capcom hasn't given the release date for RE10. Is the series dead?
Evil Dead 2 was monumental to me as a kid. A big part of that was Bruce Campbell as Ash. I was lucky enough to get to meet him at a 24 hour movie marathon in Ohio when i was 16, where he was warm, and kind, and gently mocked the audience (deserved). Fuck cancer. I hope he gets all the care possible.
this is horrifying. this is why they say death to america. because all we bring is death to their children and people
I genuinely feel like I lost my creative spark after college and I don't know how to get it back.
Like they're not even entirely wrong about comparing real world tragedies to fictional media, but like...have some fucking tact lmao
America's long commitment to the soft eugenics of allowing the system to do the killing of undesirables is fast accelerating into a Nazi-era program of hard eugenics, in which the state directly enacts mass death against those it considers unproductive/undesirable.
I wish Camp Miasma was a real series, because I NEED to know what their version of Tina from Friday VII looked like.
The first teaser for Jane Schoenbrunβs Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is here π
Starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. In theaters August 7.
He's honestly been the only person who has added monsters within the Backrooms in a way that doesn't take away from the overall intrigue and mystique of the initial concept, so I'm REALLY EXCITED to see what he does here.
Seeing all the unique fixed camera angles they pull off in this made me realize how hard a Silent Hill game developed by them would be. They have the juice.
Three small children walking through a massive field of yellow flowers towards a farmhouse looming in the distance.
A brother and sister carefully sneaking past a large imposing figure, his skin twisted and warped like clay, who is currently ironing his "clothes"
A rickety wooden bridge leading towards a precariously located lighthouse.
Five children are seated in a small boat, as they trudge through choppy waters towards a massive military vessel in the distance.
Everyone has gotta play REANIMAL.
Haven't gotten a chance to see either of them, but everything I've heard about them is wondrous
A Criterion 4K release of Junk Head and Junk World would go hard.
Today has really showed me that the biggest problem with this website is how immensely US-centric it is
NOBODY is talking about whatβs going on in Mexico besides the 5 of us Mexicans in bsky, and frankly it seems nobody cares, I hear more about Mamdaniβs video calls than my city under siege.
Dude this fucking rules!
