Trent Alexander-Arnold was brilliant last night by the way. Everyone was quick to criticise him after the United game so give him his flowers when he has a game like that. Some of his passes, particularly in the second half were absolutely sensational.
Both at the weekend against Man United & again tonight, #LFC really missed the energy & work rate of Dominic Szoboszlai. His role is sometimes questioned but he’s the type of player who is incredibly difficult to replace & it is easy to see the void when he’s unavailable. Criminally underrated imo.

Struggling to work today as I’m spending my day worried about how Liverpool are going to adjust to the Carabao Cup football this evening because Mikel Arteta said it’s a lot different to the Premier League ball.

Alisson Becker is the best goalkeeper I’ve ever seen. Kelleher is a brilliant goalkeeper and has done really well in Alisson’s absence but it’s easy to see from that first half alone that Alisson is just on a whole other level.

• Credit to Girona, they’ve set-up well here and are hard to break down
• Is Joe Gomez ever going to get his goal?
• Nunez probably should’ve scored, he’s looking short of confidence at the moment

I love him but there is an uncomfortable conversation to be had regarding Darwin Nunez. Look at Isak tonight, that’s the kind of #LFC number 9 we thought we were getting in Darwin Nunez. I don’t doubt his work ethic but his quality in front of goal is not good enough.
Give Mohamed Salah a blank piece of paper and tell him to write whatever numbers he wants on there and sign it afterwards. His age doesn’t matter, he is the best player in the world and when he’s in the form he’s in at the moment, he wins #LFC points single-handedly, week after week.
A draw probably the fair result tonight but it feels like two points dropped with the fact we were leading so late in the game. Won’t criticise Kelleher too much because he has been brilliant in Alisson’s absence but think he had a bad evening and that is a really poor error.
