In which I consider expanding a game that seems to be doing well...
Revealing some more sketches and artworks...

Ahh...might need to change things on the blog. I usually only ever look at it on a desktop or laptop.
We've passed 2 million...

Indie game designers (like myself) have been saying this for decades... but the publicity of things like "Critical Role" hasn't helped the cause.
Once again, it turns out βfully autonomousβ means βa guy in the Philippines.β
I enjoyed writing this series on how to run TTRPGs, and in the two years since then I've seen so many people ask the same questions I answered in this sequence.

Another dig through an old notebook....this time not as old as some of the others...
vulpinoid.blogspot.com/2026/02/note...
Less a notebook, and more of a sketchbook that was being used to form ideas for a comic that never eventuated...

Well, we know it wasn't a Democrat, otherwise they would have left the name unredacted.
...and...???
It's cool to see when work from 30 year ago is still filed somewhere...

I just discovered gifcities.org and figured that I'd see if I could find an old gift I created back in the 90s. It claims to be a pretty comprehensive archive of gif files from the entire history of the internet... and BAM!! thre it is. (The scaled up version of this looks terrible).
I shared the video that Catie posted in her thread with a friend of his that I follow on Instagram, who was looking for any and all footage of @nurdrocks.bsky.social's capture. She let me know that he has been located, is with family, and receiving medical care.
Absolutely... I found a few notebooks a couple of weeks ago, and figured that stuff like this needs to be shared. These notebooks have prompted my ideas for decades, but maybe some ideas might prompt someone else too.
I'm going through some of my old RPG design notebooks on my blog... these are really bringing back some memories.

That's true... the "FUBAR Director's Cut" which is the preferred version of that system was modified based on a whole lot of playtesting. The SNAFU SRD being finished now is a modification and refinement on that (but has gotten a bit crunchier in the process).
A meticulously planning DM/GM would account for this...otherwise they weren't meticulous enough.
This is great!
I'm working on re-establushing a website presence for Vulpinoid Studios... this version seems to work best on desktop computer screens rather than phones...so I'mwondering how most people access sites these days...

First part of a retrospective look at my game design. Through the lens of the notebooks I've used over the decades. (Also whatever other interesting stuff I find in those notebooks)

Get these now... the ones I've got are great. I'll be budgeting for the rest shortly...
Awesome!
I'm a teacher, and I explicitly ran campaigns of different TTRPG systems for a term each... we got through about ten different systems, and I got the kids designing a game of their own at one stage too. We had about 30 students in the club at its peak.
I've been screaming this into the void, via my blog, for over a decade...
How many blog posts have I dedicated to this idea over the past 15 years??? Too many.
This is awesome... mind if I point people in your direction for miniatures for a couple of games I'm working on?
