This episode is a perfect example of why @knowrogan.bsky.social exists. The media repeated the same story - 'Joe called ICE the Gestapo'. But they missed the point, because they didn't listen to the show. We listened, and it's clear that Joe is not "fully soured" on Trump - not remotely.

It is a start and it is very good news but the system is still very much being propped up by (and at the expense of) the wellbeing of prison lawyers.
This needs to be seen in the context of there having been *no* increase for almost 30 years and even a decrease in 2013.
As the response alludes to there is to be no change to the fixed fee scheme. This means that almost all cases will continue to have losses built into them...

It would be pretty churlish to be negative about a 24% payrise. It is excellent news and desperately needed.

Friday's 440 metre loops at HMP New Hall taking pride of place amongst the 'big' races.
Far from the furthest or longest ive run this year but definitely the most impactful.
