Watching the sun rise and thinking (for maybe only a moment) that it’s a new day which hasn’t been written yet and blindly hoping it’s better than yesterday.

I think everyone who gets thrown out on this kind of journey starts out with the mindset/determination they’re going to be one of the people who beat the odds.
Not all of us are so lucky but it definitely gives you a different perspective to be on the far end of the battle.
I was diagnosed at 47 (when the recommended age was still 50)

A colonoscopy is cakewalk compared to all that…don’t be a wimp. Make an appointment for yours if you’ve put it off
So they are admitting that Ballerina was just ‘winging’ it. No training or education or expertise.
What’s next? You gonna try a little home-based brain surgery or maybe neighborhood rocket launches?
