Adding to this from the story: many foreign workers were hired in to help boost the Canadian economy after the pandemic, but the federal gov't says their numbers have now strained housing, infrastructure and affordability in the country
Immigration Minister Marc Miller says the age of Canadian employers relying on "cheap foreign labour" is over, as the federal gov't works to cap the number of temporary foreign workers in the country
