Even if Kiseff was going to change up things in Atlyss, that's what you should have understood when you bought into an -early access- game. Thats the risk of impulse.

This isn't worth the dogpiling of a solo dev even if this wasn't taken hideously out of context.

Someone in another reply to me actually clarified it even further. It was apparently a real discord message that was taken completely out of context, sent in reply to someone who had been harassing Kiseff for some time. I couldn't find it in the search because the thread it was in was nuked.

I'm just reminded of how much of a struggle this game is. Psikyo games are so uniquely, wildly brutal. Probably only matched by the few Cave 2-ALL stipulations when it comes to arcade difficulty.

Dark Ages -a first person shooter- would prefer to have you sit in front of a *Cyber Demon* and ask you to just parry him to death. Incredible.

Eternal was fun for the initial playthrough and then going back to it, I realized it's just incredibly tedious. They are not only doubling down on that game but also adding other modern action memes I am BEYOND sick of. Props to the robust difficulty sliders though. Hope that catches on.

I really do not like any gameplay I've seen of Dark Ages.
