A black ink sketch on yellowish paper of a chaotic, monstrous creature. The drawing is made of heavy, frantic scribbles, featuring multiple staring eyes, a wide mouth with sharp jagged teeth, and spindly, claw-like legs dangling at the bottom.

A sketchbook lies open on a wooden desk with four black drawing pens and a black eraser, resting to its left. The drawing is a black ink landscape of jagged, sharp mountains. The mountains are heavily shaded with aggressive, directional cross-hatching to show deep, dark crevices and stark, brightly lit rock faces. The foreground features a rounded, heavily textured hill. The sky above the mountains is left entirely blank, creating a stark, high-contrast, and desolate atmosphere
1-hour mountain shading study. Just traditional ink, paper, and stark negative space. ✒️🗻 #artsky #inkdrawing

Scale locking be damned.

An image of a sheet of white manuscript paper with ten staves. Instead of traditional musical notes, the lines are filled with an abstract, chaotic arrangement of black ink splatters, jagged horizontal dashes, and thin, sweeping curves. The markings resemble a frantic shorthand or a visual representation of static and noise, scattered unevenly across the musical registers.
Tune in onto @campradio.bsky.social tomorrow night at 7pm CEST for this month’s episode of Outertones.
Playlist focusing on Saturation: Density as form. Massed strings, instrumental excess and rhythmic overload. W/ Xenakis, Jlin, Pan Sonic and more!
Outertones - Thursday 04/03/26, 7pm CEST
There's probably 20 albums worth of goregrind song titles from this.
An intricate white-on-black line drawing featuring a dense, central cluster of organic, worm-like or tentacle-shaped forms. These coiled shapes are composed of repetitive circular segments, giving them a ribbed, three-dimensional texture. Surrounding this organic core is a sharp, geometric web of straight, intersecting lines that form a complex polygonal frame, creating a striking contrast between fluid biology and rigid mathematics.
Throwback to this older work from 2022. #artsky #digitalart 🦑🕸️
An ink-and-pen sketch on white paper featuring a large, stylized eye as the focal point. The drawing uses heavy, expressive black lines and hatching to create depth and texture. The iris contains fine radial lines, while the surrounding lids and skin are defined by bold, slanted cross-hatching. Below the main eye is a smaller, more delicate sketch of an eye with thick, dark lashes. A grey liquid ink rollerball pen is partially visible in the upper right corner, resting on the paper.

A black ink drawing in a sketchbook depicting a dark, moody landscape. Thick, heavily shaded tree trunks dominate the top, with gnarled, spooky roots hanging over the edge of a jagged cliff. Below the cliff, horizontal scratchy lines suggest a dark, rippling body of water. In the top right corner, a pale round moon sits in a sky filled with aggressive, heavy ink hatching and bare, sharp branches. The style is raw, high-contrast, and highly textured, resembling gritty underground death metal zine art.

A traditional black-and-white pen and ink drawing on a white piece of paper, sitting on a wooden desk. Four different black drawing pens and markers are lined up neatly on the left side. The drawing depicts a crooked, spooky, gothic-style house with a tall pointed tower and cross-hatched roof tiles. In the foreground, a massive, gnarled tree rendered in heavy, solid black ink reaches its bare, twisted branches toward the house. Deep black shadows cover the right side of the building, creating a stark contrast against the pure white background.

Absolutely heartbroken to learn of the passing of the singular, inimitable Eliane Radigue.
I have everything to say and nothing to say so I'll simply pass along this link to an interview I gave on Eliane and her work. She is now, officially, eternal.

Black-and-white photo of a woman seated in a studio, adjusting knobs on a large modular synthesizer or electronic control panel. A plant and a poster with a bright circular image sit on the desk beside the equipment.
RIP Éliane Radigue (1932 - 2026)

Hate how “don’t care” as a virtue is still a thing.
A black-and-white, traditional pen-and-ink drawing on white paper resting on a wooden desk. To the left of the paper are two drawing pens. The artwork features a dark, heavily shaded, nightmarish tree with grasping roots. Embedded in the center of the tree trunk is a human skull and ribcage. The background consists of dense, dark silhouettes of other trees. Harsh, diagonal ink lines slash across the entire image, creating the effect of a heavy, driving rainstorm. The drawing has a raw, scratchy, and gothic folk-horror aesthetic.
Added some rain to finish this one off. I wasn't feeling it at first, but the heavy ink finally clicked. #artsky #drawing
Definitely! Visuals were top notch too!
Deftones last night at O2.
Black ink drawing of a skeletal, grim reaper–like figure with a skull face and exposed ribcage, draped in tattered, dripping shapes that extend outward like wings or a cross. The lower half fades into a long, dark, flowing mass, giving the figure a ghostly, ominous appearance

RIP to Mark Sawickis (Impetigo). An asset to the extreme metal underground, helping define the blueprint for goregrind and influenced countless bands.
Britain’s democracy survived the 1930s partly because Penguin Books helped create a politically confident, well-read working class, and unless we rebuild that kind of grassroots intellectual culture now, we risk sliding toward authoritarianism.
