Glad to see some leaders are making positive changes amid in all the chaos.
You're entitled to your own opinions in your head. But if you choose to express them out loud, it's your responsibility to:
(1) Ground them in logic and facts
(2) Explain your reasoning to others
(3) Change them when better evidence emerges
It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.
Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.
Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

OMG same! The school was not happy when I pointed this out.
I wish more people would talk about this. Ofcourse inclusion should be the ultimate goal. But having worked in a self contained behavior program, I saw from experience that the intensive support given to those students early on, aided in their academic success in gen ed in the near future
