I’m usually constrained by having only about half of the con to do things. So I wanna suit a lot when I can.

3:30 am was apparently the perfect time for me to wake up and have severe dysphoria about a specific part of my body 🙃

It’s been a rollercoaster of a week but I’m managing. I had two phone interviews for a new job, the following day we put my cat to sleep, and the next day my uncle passed. Take time for yourselves and your own mental health when things get tough. It really keeps me centered.

Duncan crossed the rainbow bridge today, to be with his buddy Jasper. We miss him immensely. Tuxies are something special 🖤🤍. My sona Lilith was directly inspired by him, so in a way I will carry his spirit with me always.

My family has to say goodbye to our cat today. I’m trying to process, and not doing great with it. If I’m not very responsive this week, that is why. 💔

On the cusp of a career change and about to submit for a job at a place I reallyyyyy like. 🤞
The year is starting to look up again. Change is scary but can be rewarding.

Somedays ya just gotta sit at home, no makeup, sick, kicked while you’re down… and begin to pull yourself out of it, as hard as it may be. For the first time in over a decade I’m getting serious about writing a new r3sume…. And getting out of this hellscape.

Having the month long void between appointments with my old therapist and my new one happened at the worst possible time. My January has been rough.

Today has been a total wash. I’m still congested and have a headache. And I just need to turn my brain off.

And it was ok. She’s here now, after almost exactly 5 years of creation.

And then finally, fast forward to last year. I got the amazing opportunity of commissioning @nautilus20000.bsky.social for a head of Lilith. And then the US tariffs go into effect. So they get the mask to a nearly complete state and we wait for word that shipping from Japan is ok.

Jump another year and adopted April and gotten her suit. And I kinda put the cat on the back burner. @takaalive.bsky.social draws her ref. I applied for a suit comm of her and didn’t get it. But I develop her more and @/cincyon creates this piece, which later informs how Lilith looks now.

The path to Lilith being created has been long and winding. It started in 2021 when I commissioned @/cicikigi for an anthro kig tuxedo cat. After that, @/nekonicokig created this ref after conferring with me. Sadly, Cici passed and the project never progressed past the shell cast.
