Ok, bot.
It can be difficult. Check their feed. If it's nothing but one-sided politics, like this one, highly likely it's a bot. Cheers.
You are arguing with a bot farm.
The post is easy to find. I'm going to leave a comment.
The "Passenger Rail Planning Act," led by IL Rep. Rita Mayfield, seeks to establish hourly train service across the Land of Lincoln and improve interstate connections. It also directs IDOT to prioritize these goals in FRA Corridor ID submissions

βAuthor @grantennis.bsky.social breaks down the specifics of how automakers, fossil fuel companies and roadway engineers, have lied about the dangers of car dependencyβ & manipulated the public into believing them.β
ICYMI @keawilson.bsky.social gets into #DarkPR in @usa.streetsblog.org. #UrbanTruth
Graphic showing a busy urban arterial clogged with cars and trucks. The text says that car dependency does not equal freedom. Mobility freedom comes from mobility choices. The image is tagged with the Urban Truth Collective logo.
They still want us to think cars equal freedom. But car DEPENDENCY is the opposite of freedom.
Mobility freedom comes from mobility choices.

Yes. They depend on Amtrak, actually since they do not fly.
A blog piece I wrote for All Aboard Ohio about what it's like to have transportation freedom:

For those who would have appreciated a link to a news article with more details:

Ohio, an economy the size of Switzerland, sees just 48 trains a week and has no rail links between its major cities. yet the station found $600 million for a new Cleveland Browns statium, 136X more than it plans to spend on rail projects over the next two years
Cars are killing household finances. It's important to add that car debt in the U.S. surpassed student loan debt 2 1/2 years ago. LEGALIZE TRANSPORTATION FREEDOM usa.streetsblog.org/2026/01/07/t...
Trains mean economic development:

New York State as a whole. It will help reverse their declining population.
You won't understand, but LA is in a fiscal crisis because of car-centeic development that dominates the city (and state as a whole). It was the root of Detroit's bankruptcy. It's a ticking time bomb in cities all across the country, especially suburbs.
It's not that well protected. I still see flex posts. It's not protected at all when cars aren't parked next to it. Let's stop watering down the definition of protected.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority made an excellent decision hiring Ian Choudry as CEO. Private sector partners are now being brought in to help fund the project.

18% of Americans want to go car-free. 40% are open to going car-free. This is in addition to the 10% of Americans who don't drive. Congress needs to match federal transportation policy and funding to this market shift:

Pointless comment. She's quite obviously trying to make sure that the members themselves make the big decisions about the party and not just a few. It is annoying that they are infighting so publicly, though.
This is not true: "Federal law authorizes only Amtrak to operate coast-to-coast passenger rail routes." Congress repealed Amtrak's statutory monopoly in 1997 when it passed the Amtrak Reform and Accountability Act www.msn.com/en-us/money/...
This is interesting... www.thecanary.co/opinion/2025...
@railpassengers.org covers @amtrak.com discussion at their 12/4/25 board meeting where Amtrak admitted they don't have enough seat capacity. This is reason enough to hold on to their Amfleet equipment and make there long-distance, single-level coach order that's in the works larger than 160 cars
I'm finding The Canary to ve a good publication reporting on the mess that is UK politics right now, and exposing both Labour and Reform for what they really are:

Many areas of the country have lousy intercity bus service with Greyhound being the only and very limited option. I last rode them in 2016. Employees were surly, buses uncomfortable. The experience was bad enough that I said "Never again". I want GOOD intercity bus service, not the crap we have now
I blocked roughly 40 bots some weeks back, and the feed got remarkably quiet in that regard. Good to hear they aren't investing as much energy now.
TWU president John Samuelsen is being very disingenuous. MBTA, Chicago CTA, MARTA, LA Metro, and every other subway, light rail, and tram operation in the world has one crew member per train. As a career-long union member (diff't union) I recognize that featherbedding turns people against unions.
I don't live in NYC. It should be someone there.
ou know you are on the right path and having sn effect when the snakes start to hiss. A counterpoint editorial and letters to the editor are needed now.
